Ha Giang Loop Tour 4D3N Itinerary
The itinerary may be adjusted slightly for weather, road conditions and guest safety. Your local guide will keep the main highlights while choosing the safest and most enjoyable route each day.
3:00 PM or 8:00 PM: Optional pickup is available from Hanoi Old Quarter and selected locations such as the airport, Sapa, Cat Ba or Ninh Binh. The journey to Ha Giang takes approximately six hours, depending on the pickup point and traffic.
Around 9:00–9:15 PM: Check in at SkyPath Hostel in Ha Giang City. One pre-tour night is included. Solo travelers receive a dorm bed, with a private-room upgrade available for an additional fee.
7:30–8:30 AM: Enjoy breakfast at SkyPath Hostel, meet your guide and Easy Rider, and attend a route and safety briefing. We provide a helmet and protective knee and elbow pads before departure.
9:00 AM: Cross Bac Sum Pass and stop at Quan Ba Heaven Gate for views of the Twin Mountains and the surrounding valleys.
Late morning: Visit Lung Tam, a Hmong village known for traditional hemp weaving and handcrafted textiles.
12:00 PM: Enjoy lunch in Quan Ba Town.
1:30 PM: Visit Nam Dam, a Dao ethnic cultural village known for its traditional rammed-earth houses.

12:15 PM: Enjoy lunch in Lung Cu.
1:30 PM: Continue to Ma Pi Leng Pass, known for its dramatic cliffs, high mountain views and panorama over the winding Nho Que River.
Around 5:00 PM: Arrive in Dong Van, check in for the night and explore Dong Van Old Quarter in the evening.
8:40 AM: After breakfast in Dong Van, return toward Ma Pi Leng Pass and take a gentle walk along the Ma Pi Leng Sky Walk. Continue through the mountain villages and landscapes of Meo Vac and Mau Due.
Lunch: Enjoy a local meal in Mau Due.
2:00 PM: Experience a traditional bamboo raft ride on the Ngoc Long River and enter Tham Lin Cave. Swimming may be possible when conditions are safe.
Around 5:00 PM: Arrive at the accommodation in Du Gia, a village surrounded by mountains and rice fields.
Evening: Share a home-cooked dinner with the local host family and the group, with the opportunity to try local “Happy Water” corn wine.
